Farewell Message from JICA Expert - Mr. Hisao Chiba

Thank you very much for all persons with disabilities, resource persons, focal point and associate organizations and APCD colleagues. I must tell you that I am leaving the APCD Project by the end of July 2007. It was precious moment that I could work at APCD as JICA Expert on ICT Accessibility in the last 5 years. I could meet a number of PWDs who are fully empowered and powerfully working for barrier-free society. Their passion, energy and confidence deeply convinced me that PWDs have power to change the society for all. I shall never forget the spirits of PWDs. I will be continuously working with PWDs in Japan from September 2007. So I am very much looking forward to seeing you again in the near future and let's work together to realize an inclusive, barrier-free and rights-based society.
