Target Countries and Number of Participants Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand
* The maximum number of invited participants is 20 in total.

Expected Participants -Manager or equivalent managerial personnel of a CBR Project in the above target countries.
* The maximum 2 participants can represent his/her respective organization.
* Please refer to the “Recommended Associate or Relevant Organizations of APCD for the Conference”on page 4.
Objectives

This Workshop conducted jointly by APCD and WHO aim to:
- Introduce a draft version of CBR guidelines and its development process
- Present the draft of each chapter of the guidelines by a facilitator
- Review and obtain feedback from the participants on each of the draft chapters of the CBR guidelines following the questionnaire
- Provide an opportunity for local stakeholders to provide their own perspectives for consideration and also to share their experiences of good practices
- Collect information and advice for dissemination and implementation strategy
- Brief participants about the expected timeline for production and the next steps in the process

* The participants will arrive in Thailand on 25 and depart on 29 November.

Expenses & Allowances

The following expenses for each INVITED participant will be borne by APCD/JICA in cooperation with WHO:

  1. Workshop expenses
  2. An economy class round-trip air ticket (PTA ticket) between his/her nearest airport and Bangkok. APCD will inform each trainee in advance of the details of a PTA ticket
  3. Accommodation during the meeting period
  4. Per diem for minimum daily expenditures according to APCD regulations (e.g., food) during the training period
  5. Medical insurance fee during the training period
  6. * Any expenses spent in his/her country including VISA fee, passport fee and airport tax need to be borne by each participant.
