] [ Top ]Mr. Wiraman Niyomphol, a Lecturer and Researcher at Ratchasuda College of Mahidol University Thailand is currently responsible for teaching in the area of technology for persons with disabilities with special focus on visual disability. He also conducts a research on Braille translation and speech access for the blind and serves as ON-NET Regional Center Coordinator which is a regional program on access technology for blind and low vision persons in Southeast Asia region
Ms. Criselda Moonwicha is an International Coordinator for Christian Foundation for the Blind in Thailand (CFBT) Head quarter's office and an Adaptive Technology Coordinator (Low vision) for the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, CFBT. She is responsible for the international correspondence between CFBT and related foreign organizations, instruct in technology training courses organized by CFBT for visually impaired students and related personnel within and outside CFBT, assist in providing technology services to visually impaired students under CFBT and help in developing media for low vision people. She is also as a Board member of the CCTV research project of Rajamongkol Technology Institute, Khon Kaen province.

Mr. Jun Ishikawa is a professor, Faculty of International Relations at the University of Shizuoka. His sociological research focuses on sociology of identity, emotion, accessibility and disability. He is a developer of assistive technology. He received PhD in Sociology from Tokyo University. He is the president of Japan Society for Disability Studies. His major publication in sociology is "Identity Game" (1992), "Why We Want to be Recognized?" (1999), "Invisible and Visible" (2004). His major development in assistive technology is "EXTRA for Windows" text to Braille translation software, "ALTAIR for Windows" editor, Internet browser and mailer, "OutSpoken for Windows Japanese edition" screen reader.
